It’s finally started! On the 2nd of July the doors of Akanyijuka were opened to receive the first round of orphaned children. We have selected six initially and are looking to bring more in once everything has settled down. The paint on the walls is still drying and a few legals are still being processed but a long season of preparation and trials seem to be over for now.

There is still quite a bit of planning do be done regarding education but our delight at the moment is seeing the glowing smiles on the faces of all these kids. In only a few short days the transformation in their lives is blatantly evident.
